Rameshor Bhandari is an educator and social worker from Los Angeles. As an educator, he empowers his students through education and civic engagement. Rameshor has mobilized Nepalese American voters in local, state, and national elections in California since 2016. Rameshor has served on various committees of California Federation of Teachers, including Higher Education Issues Committee, and TESOL.
In 2016, Rameshor was appointed as an Honorary Public Relations Representative of Nepal Government’s Tourism Board for Southern California. Rameshor has been serving as a Board of Director of Shree Pashupatinath Foundation, USA (SPFU), that owns and operates a Nepali temple in Los Angeles, since 2014. From 2014-2018, he served as SPFU’s Secretary and oversaw construction project of California’s first Nepalese temple and community center. Rameshor has hosted several political and social events in California, and he successfully convened the Fourth Nepalese American Convention in Los Angeles in July 2019. He has also been active in Democratic political clubs in California for a long time.
